Great neighbourhood bar. I was felt welcome the first day I walked in. There's nothing fancy. Drinks are good and prices are quite reasonable. Bartenders are friendly and personable. It is always a pleasure going to the Viking lounge!
Stopped in for a bit on a Saturday night and had a good time. Great service, laid back atmosphere, and good prices.
Good luck trying to get a SINGLE SONG in during karaoke night on Saturdays. I had 25 songs lined up and I didn't get to sing one!! So I drank all night and got drunk and of course unaware of my surroundings. I tried to sit down, but I ACCIDENTALLY knocked down a woman's drink. It was her birthday and she was in tears even though she was turning like 40 or some age close to that. Then she thought I was trying to get in her pants when she told me that she has kids my age so nothing was gonna happen between me and her. I DIDN'T WAIVE TO HER OR EVEN TOUCH HER!!!! But she was apparently one one of my friend's friends or whatever. Anyways the long and short of it. Just go there to get your drink on. Don't expect anything classy, and hope you get a ride to take you home.
