We have always had an excellent time at this particular movie theater, but their addition of the dream loungers has upped the ante! This is the best movie theater in Cedar Rapids, bar none! The Chief Executive Officer is a very fun and very comforting individual who helps all of the Marcus Theaters pay attention to their consumers needs!
Great experiences till now. Had the slowest guy at the concession stand. Yep sodas and two popcorn. Proceeded to then watch him refill both popcorn kettles and the backup scoops before coming back and asking me what drinks I ordered. Sad when you open 20 minutes in the concession stand line. I do like the new reclining lounger seats.
Went to see The Greatest Showman on 12/27/17. Arrived 40 min early and had pre bought tickets waiting. Show at 5. Got in line for snacks at 4:30 with 4 people in front of us. Missed the start of show due to POOR service at concessions. I work in retail and if I moved as slow as these people did I would be fired!!! Got a medium-sized popcorn and 2 large drinks. $24. Ridiculous prices, piss poor service and it seems management just don't care!! Will be waiting for movies to come to Collins rd theater. Low ticket prices, AWESOME concession prices and service plus have seen manager out in lobby every time been there. I know this will make no difference to the people who run this theater because if they were any kind of decent managers they would see what is wrong long ago!!
They have a good selection of snacks and food. They also offer beer our wine for the adults who want a drink with their movie.
This use to be the best theater in town but they re did it in side and out and now it's gone down hill for example the customers service area was just filled with lost and found stuff and workers stuff as look like behind the counter at a pool not professional at all. They have a game area up top that non of the coin machine worked and only about half of the games worked. One of the best Attraction was a flight simulator that now has a sign that says permanently out of service but no news on if they will get a new one or not. I will be back to see if they in prove but I'm not holding my breath
The updates they're doing are great! Definitely recommend Wehrenberg Theatre!
My husband and I love coming here for movie date nights! We play the games and goof off for a while before watching our movie choice. This would be a great place for kids groups or family outings.
