Please DO NOT support this store! They only care about money and take horrible care of the animals! There is a difference between knowledge and compassion. How can the owners have a compassion for animals when they get puppies from PUPPY MILLS? If you want a family pet, please go to the local animal shelters and don't support this store and puppy mills.
I must say that my fiance and I just shopped at Pet Playhouse. The Owner and newer salesman were friendly, helpful, and we will definitely be back. We were assisted with our current tank situation and together we all came up with an educated plan to enjoy our fish and eels.
The moment my mother and I walked into the store the lady that seem to be in charge was yelling at a fellow employee infront of customers. There was water all over the floor with no warning or wet floor sign. Another employee yelled at me for using a step stool that was left out that I was trying to use to see some of their snakes that they have set up high. There was no sign or writing on the step stool saying that I could not use it. The entire half hour we were in there nobody asked us if we needed help with nothing or how we were doing. The entire store is hard to navigate. Although they do have a good variety of fish and products for you, you don’t want to spend more than a few minutes in there due to the negative environment. I used to love going there to look at all their fresh and saltwater fish but couldn’t stand the customer service. No longer a fan.
