I been going here for 5 years and love however.....,..., This place as of March 2012 is no longer a planet beach, has changed owner........ Im giving it tine before i make any comments as it takes time. Wanted everyone to know.
CALLED SALON FOR TANNING INFO AND GOT PROMPT, AWNSERS. EMPLOYEE WAS VERY FRIENDLY TO ME THIS COMPANY HAS GREAT CUSTOMER SKILLS!!!!!!!
I tanned here with lotion and didn't see results. The bulbs in the bed were very weak and not bright at all. I have been tanning indoors for many years now and have never been in a bed with bulbs so dark. Then when I mention something about it, i get only sarcastic remarks. If your willing to pay as much as they charge then at least go somewhere you will get results and not talked back to.
The overall building and beds look nice but I felt my tan faded quickly and beds literally wouldn't get warm. I tanned there back in '05-06 and thought it was the best place ever so I went back in '10 and felt everything was SUPER expensive.........the beds were also ridiculously priced. I bought a 3 month bundle in the 2nd level bed with tax $102...wowza. So when I bought a lotion from there and started having a reaction from it...I figured they would have no problem letting me exchange if towards something else since I had spent good money and also was a returning customer....boy was I wrong. The girl whom I had seen prob a 100 times b4 didn't even have to look up my name acted like I was crazy for trying to exchange half a bottle of lotion and I was even going to pay more money for a better lotion!! Lol I felt actually dissapointed just bc I felt like I had always been a good customer. Anyways she refused to let me exchange the lotion bc half gone was too much I guess?? I'm sorry I'm 5'9 and require a Lil more lotion ;] Needless to say Tan World is seriously the way to go!! Their staff is way more knowledgeable, way better deals..oh and most importantly the customer is always pleased ;]
This was by far the best place I have ever tanned. I got a good tan, for a reasonable price. People were nice, never too busy and they remember your name.
