This is the last item I will buy from Sears.
Excellent. Technician came slightly ahead of the scheduled window (with a call ahead of time to confirm it was good with us). He opened things up, diagnosed the broken heater coil quickly, and had the replacement part in his van. He pretty much took apart every part that comes apart in the whole dryer to get at the coil, but had it all back together, tested, and working within about an hour of walking in the door. I don't know what else to ask for... Except maybe a discount, which I got through the online 20% off coupon I'd found. I'm very pleased.
I purchased a clothes dryer on 10-07-2017. It was scheduled to be delivered 1 1/2 months later on 11-20-2017. When they came to deliver it, they refused to hook it up because the gas shut-off valve was too far away (approximately 10 feet). They told me that I could call them back, after paying a plumber to move the valve, and they would come back to hook it up and haul away the old dryer. When I called, they said it would be a week to come back (11-29-2017). A few days later they called back to cancel that appointment and push it back another week. I can't keep waiting on Sears to finalize their installation. I hired someone to install the dryer and haul it out of the basement. It is currently sitting in my garage while Sears is telling me that they don't have time to come pick it up.
