Although we worked with a nice salesman at another store, the prices were significantly cheaper. To the point that we could still get furniture there that we were initially going to get elsewhere. And the quality is just as good. So short of making sure it is delivered when they say it will be, our experience there has been nothing short of excellent. While I hope they are not truly going out of business, I fear that they really are and wish them all the best. Thank you Mark, for your outstanding service to the customer!
Recliner arrived and we picked it up and set it up at home. We had some difficulty putting the back in the recliner and recliners are NOT hard to put together. After a couple of months, the right side was "drifting back" and not even with the left side. My Mom called and talked to Mark and he was immediately defensive and accused us of doing something wrong. He said he would check with his service guys and call us back by Friday.
My Mom and I went to look for a "big man's" recliner and we, unluckily, got salesman Mark. He was very eager to sell, but we had no idea after making the decision to buy a $1300 leather recliner that he would make us pay for it to be delivered. I mean, it's a $1300 leather recliner!?!
1-star for salesman Mark, but 5-stars for manager Jim!!!
Luckily, my Mom talked to the manager Jim and from that moment on, we were taken care of wonderfully!! Jim turned a 1-star experience into a 3-star experience! We would shop there again, but steer clear of Mark!!
Bought a bed here that was marked down. Jim was very nice and made a pleasant buying experience. Love the bed!
Our salesperson was great and patient while we looked at mattresses. We went with the floor model, a few marks but no big deal as it'd be covered. The manager came over and gave us the same deal on a new one. Came in under the time quoted, helped us load it. Liked their selection of other furniture, too. Will definitely shop there again!
Well, Friday came and no call. So that afternoon, my Mom called to talk to Mark and surprise!, he wasn't even working that day. Talk about a service disaster after picking up what I'm sure was a NICE COMMISSION on recliner like we ordered.
While we are expecting our furniture to arrive by Monday and today is Friday, I wanted to share our experience as it has been far different from everyone else's on here. We worked with Mark, who immediately approached us. He was very friendly. While at times he tried to veer us in a different direction, he was quick to fall back in line with what we were shopping for. He gave us time to pick out what we wanted. He worked with me on the price of a dresser. He was respectful to my wife and 10 year old daughter. He ensured that we were getting exactly what WE wanted and not what HE wanted to sell. We went in on a Wednesday. Proper expectations were set that it could take a couple weeks to get here and that there was a delivery charge. When I called Thursday to give him a heads up we were coming in for a deposit and look at more furniture, he informed me that he had the furniture that we wanted, come in and instead of waiting a couple weeks, we should expect the furniture to be delivered this coming Monday. He showed us the pieces that we could expect to have delivered, that were in the stock area.
Went in looking for a mattress and the guy said if we didn't buy it right away the pricing would go up. We didn't like all the stuff he said so we left and didn't buy. We noticed a day later much less proving actually. Not a fan of the tactics.
