Took 15 mins for someone to come to front desk to check us in. The lady in the restaurant/bar acted as if we were an inconvenience. Rude to us most of the time. The water in the shower kept changing temp. Will not stay again.
My wife and I will definitely stay here again should we ever be in this area again!
The rooms are a bit dated. The bed was not comfortable. The temperature of the shower water was not consistent. However, the location is good, the staff are helpful and pleasant. The park and fly package is a good deal.
My husband has stayed here quite a few times over the years and the service was never terrible. This morning, he went down to eat breakfast twenty minutes before it was over with to find all of the employees taking heaping platefuls of left over food. He tried scraping together what little was left of the waffle batter and poured it into the iron when one of the employees with the overfilled plates stepped behind him to turn the iron back on meaning it was shut off and not preheated. My husband just looked at him said “that’s okay buddy, you can have that too...I’ll just get something a little further on down the road”. The employee actually offered him his plate that he had already piled high with eggs, bacon, eggs etc. I understand not wanting to waste food from breakfast but possibly they should consider waiting until AFTER breakfast is over with. My husband had stayed in a suite the previous night in which the shower still had soap from previous guests. Just not a great experience.
My wife and I were very pleasantly surprised by this place! We were expecting a very simple hotel to stay the night based on the price. The moment we walked in we were thinking this place is a little bit classier. It's not like some other hotels we have stayed at, you can tell that this place wasn't always a very classy place. But the staff and condition of the furniture and decor and everything told us that this place strives to be a very comfortable and well kept place. The rooms were clean, breakfast a continental but with waiters and waitresses and the food was pretty good as well.
Just stayed here last week because we were moving into a new home and needed a nice place to stay for the night. This is NOT what I remember as being the nice hotel it was years ago. The elevators were sketchy at best, the bar area was run down.... The best part of the stay was sitting in the lobby because it was somewhat well maintained. I travel a lot and I was very disappointed in how the hotel has gone downhill.
