Was sold on laser for Mitten's declaw. I was so apprehensive to have Mitten's claws done. I called around but when I actually talked to Dr Clark she made me comfortable about declawing. The laser was amazing cause Mittens was up and around the day after her surgery. Thanks so much. For anyone that is hesitant about declaws this is a perfect fit.
My kitten Tigger hurt his back leg some how. She examined him and gave him all his shots for us and checked out his leg, but he was being a stinker and wouldn't allow her to look at it so that is when she recommend that he stay there so she could give him an x-ray. Thank god we did the x-ray due to we found out he had a broken femur bone. She talked with me about the options that we could do and wasn't pushy about anything at all. She recommend he have surgery. We couldn't afford the surgery right away and she suggested that if we were to do the surgery not to wait to long and that if we waited that it could be a more massive surgery. She gave us time to think about what we wanted to do, So then she wrapped his leg up for us so it could try and heal without the surgery. I came home and talked it over with my husband about the pros and cons of having surgery vs not having surgery and we decided surgery was best for our fur baby. I am very thankful we had the surgery done on Tigger due to he is walking and acting like nothing even happened. When she just wrapped it without the surgery he was limping on it and had a hard time getting around. He went back to her because his bandages were coming off and she helped us out with that and said everything is looking great so far. We are very pleased with her services and will tell everyone about her vet clinic. It is a GREAT place to go.
I would recommend everyone come to Abbe's Animal Clinic. She is very friendly and gives great advice when it comes down to your pet. She has very good prices for all her services, and isn't pushy at all. I highly recommend going to her. She is very compassionate and friendly about the animals and the family. She is a great vet to go to. She will talk to you about everything she will do before she does it. She even tells you a really good estimate of what the price will be as well.
I am in the army and received all of my cat's shots for free. I did not ask for this favor but I think when Dr Clark saw my uniform she knew I was in the service. She gave everything Cleo needed to get caught up and then told me she would not be charging me anything. I couldn't believe it. Thank you so much!
For anybody who is looking for a new vet, please do not consider Abbyie's animal clinic! She has been well known for charging for things she does not do, telling you that your animal is very sick and needs medication or surgery when in reality she doesn't do any testing so she doesn't really know. I have seen many posts where she tells the person that and they take their pet to another vet and they get told their animal is perfectly healthy. When you confront her on issues that you were having she will get confrontational and very rude and tell you to leave her clinic and do not come back and do not contact her. She does not give proper paperwork. So if you love your pet and consider them a family member, do them a favor and do not take them there!!!!! I know this information is more than accurate because it happened to me. If there was a way to give her a rating with zero stars, I would do it.
I rescued my first kitten this year and when I brought him home I knew right away there was something wrong with him. At first I thought he was just scared and unfamiliar with his surroundings but he wouldn't eat, was not able to keep his up and started puking. The next day I googled Vets in CR and Abbie's was the first to pop up. I brought him in and she could tell right away he wasn't feeling well, so she ran tests and kept him over night. The next day after he was given antibiotics he was awake full of energy. Shes great and informative.
