This is the worst location I have ever rented from. First they never notified us of an extra $150 that would need to be paid at pick up, then their computers went down and everything had to be wrote up, then the truck had damage to it, and they never said anything about it or write it down until we told them to, and now the damage was never fixed and it happens to be raining, and all my property in the truck got wet. When I called they said they wouldn't help and to call the 1-800-budget number and hung up. Don't waste your money!
I do not recommend Budget truck rental. My experience was a nightmare. Despite their affordable price, you end up paying in other ways. I rented a truck to move to a different state. When I picked up the truck the front desk was saying how the boss had moved all the trucks the previous night and put the keys wherever, not in their right place. Shows how careful they are. On my journey I had to sit on the side of the road twice. This ended up prolonging my half a day trip into a full day. My first encounter was when we called to make sure that a check engine oil soon light wasn't going to harm us and while awaiting confirmation the truck dies and we have to wait again for someone to jump the truck. Second time was when a car dolly tire shredded. My nerves and patience are shot with budget. A lot of stress and uncomfortableness was put on me, I still am suffering, and today I tried filling a complaint through their customer service. I called one number and was transfered twice, started talking with the guy and the line was cut off. Called again and they put me through several other transfers. Then one lady sent my complaint in and only offered me $100 bucks back from the $1070 I initially paid. I was unhappy with what little compensation she offered so I chose to escalate the situation to her supervisor. She couldn't do any better. I agreed to take back the $100 but I felt that it didn't cover the nightmare I went through. I started to ask one more time if there really wasn't any other way to get my refund and before I know it said had said goodbye and hung up. A lot of the people I spoke with had accents as well. Other reviews I have read said they use out of US call centers. Other reviews I've read we're similar on how horrible budget really is. Don't trust them
Made a reservation on a moving truck, told them we would be picking up around 4pm. In the meantime someone else made a reservation. So Budget bumped us for the other customer. When we tried to pick up the moving truck, they offered us a much smaller truck. So sucks to be us???? They didn't offer anything else at a cheaper rate. Well I will never go there again!!!!
I just dropped off a rental truck here after hours. Above the key drop box was a poster that reiterated the instructions AND had a phone number if needed. I appreciate the assistance.
Every was convenient except for the part that you have to be twenty one to rent a truck and not eighteen.
