I have used Zimmerman's in every aspect and they have treated me with respect and always handled me in a fair manner. I bought my car there new and have bout 3 used vehicles from them. All of my service has been performed there and even a little body shop mishap which was a lot easier than I expected.
Unfortunately, I had a bad experience. I took my car in to have the timing belt replaced and some bolts were not sealed properly afterwards. Oil was leaking so rapidly from my car that I am lucky I didn't blow my engine. Had it have gone another day it probably would have. I returned the car to them and they had to keep it overnight, which was fine, but the next day they must have called the wrong number to notify me it was ready for pick-up because I didn't hear anything until I called them at 5:28 pm. They did not charge me, but there was no apologetic response nor any compensation for the mistake (i.e. some free oil changes, gas card). I spent $30 on oil to replenish the lost oil in order to drive the car back to them, and I have a mess in my garage as well as a relative's driveway. When I initially picked my car up, the girl checking me out asked me to sign a piece of paper without explaining further. I read the paper and it stated my tires had been off and I would need them tightened after X amount of miles. I asked her if I could bring it back to them for this and she nonchalantly replied, "I don't know," and made no attempt to provide an answer. It was a very disappointing experience. Customer service is not what it used to be.
