First time using this chain, was really tasty. I got the bacon pancake strips and a cinnamon roll. I originally ordered the cinnamon strips but they stopped making them although they still had them on the menu. Hubby ordered a egg and potato meal. The potatoes were so crispy and delicious that I kept snagging them from his plate! Coffee was Quite Strong! The host had been working there over 30 years and he was so entertaining! He shared lots of history with us since we were asking questions about the restaurant. Waitress was great, as well! Would have loved to get some goodies on the way out but we were stuffed!
Food came out hot and quick. Everything tasted good for our late night snack.
After overhearing multiple staff complaints from the lobby, my wife and I were seated after about 8 minutes. We then sat for nearly 25 minutes without so much as a drink order. There were no more than 8 tables of guests and every other table remained covered in dirty dishes. We finally became fed up and left. Nobody was even around to watch us leave. Terrible service!!! We drove across town to the Perkins on Collins Rd and we're actually treated how paying customers are supposed to be treated. We will never recommend the Perkins on 33rd ave.!
Good food and always friendly service here. We enjoyed coming in for lunch here while staying in a hotel right behind it.
Several tables need bused, seems under staffed. Had to wait a bit for refills and check.
Amazingly friendly staff and atmosphere. Also vegan options available upon request. I sat down working for many hours and felt very welcome. The baked goods look and smell amazing if I wasn't vegan... ;)
