I used Pa's a few years ago and it was a NIGHTMARE. They came and did a complete tear off, then left. Late that afternoon and evening we got 2 inches of rain. My house was left without being covered with plastic, so when I arrived home from work my house was flooding from the ceiling, through lights, electrical outlets, and literally pouring from the ceiling. I tried calling the owner and got no answer and no call back. I have 4 kids and the water saturated our beds, the carpet, warped all my wood flooring, and even shorted out the electrical as it ran into the breaker box. The crew showed up the next morning like nothing was wrong. The owner was very unprofessional about the whole situation, and didn't want to take ownership of his problem, and his mistake. I had to fight to get this resolved and I still was never fully reimbursed for all the damages. I would NEVER recommend this establishment.
Overall, Pa’s Roofing and Construction Co does quality work. We are very satisfied with our new roof.
Pa’s came out to have the best estimate for the material and labor. The owner gave me an estimate, and stuck to it after I made a couple changes. We decided to go with a metal roof (Decra XD shake). It was a little more expensive, but certainly well worth it given the discount on the homeowners insurance we got, and it looks great. Also it give a great peace of mind in the event we get hail or high winds (over here we do all the time).
I did not hire this company, but my neighbor did. They threw so much garbage on my side of the fence and destroyed things on my property (bushes, bird feeder, grill). They did not seem to care until I started taking pictures of it. I contacted the owner and he reimbursed me for what replacement cost without an apology. A few months later my neighbor had shingles hanging off of his front porch.
The original roof that was used when the house was built needed replaced. I had ~12 quotes from different companies. It was interesting, there was an elevated price variance in the “cost-at-finish” estimates.
My neighbor and I were coincidentally getting the roof replaced at the same time and I am happy I did not choose this company. They were slow to finish the job and sloppy all around. They even had the audacity to ask if they could nail a tarp into my new roof (since the company I hired was done in three days) to catch any rogue shingles they threw off the roof that hit my siding (this was also a problem which left tar marks on yellow siding). Very unprofessional from the owner to the laborer.
The owner responded VERY quickly to all my e-mails and always answered my calls. The Manager was always on site which was very nice. He was great to manage the job to complete it in a timely fashion. Also, it was great to have the cost not go over the estimate!
I would like to give my sincere congratulations and appreciation to the professional job that Pa's construction did at my personal residence. Not only did they perform their work in a timely and orderly fashion they also cleaned up at my residence and you could not tell that they tore off And re-shingled my home in one day It is obvious why they have been in business for over 20 years
We had an excellent experience with Pa's. It was easy at every step of the way. Quick response to pricing request. The quote was very competitive to the 3 others we received. They scheduled our project within a week of accepting their proposal and actually moved us up a day because rain was coming and they knew we had a leak issue in our dining room.Tear off and replacing our house and garage roof was done in only one day. Clean up was sufficient. They did tarp our bushes and deck areas. I found a few things here and there around the house while mowing after the project but I don't expect someone to be able to find every single scrap of paper or nail that flew off the roof. Some people may be more picky. I would definitely recommend Pa's and use them again if the need arose.
