The people that work here have a bad job at times and I we this job has slowly socked the life out of them. Please find a way to get more life back to some of the workers here so they can be less zombified, tell then we have to deal with what we get. They saved my life and so I will keep working with them, however I am getting a 2nd look at me to make sure what's happening is ok for me at this point in my life.
It's nice to know that when I've been suicidal for several months I have literally no support at all. good luck trying to get seen for therapy for medications on a regular basis. It isn't possible.
been going here for a little over a year been on same medication since around 2007. Then seen the doctor in August he YELLED at me saying I must of gotten my anti depressant some where else because they had not filled it since December so got a print out from the pharmacy showing that doctor had renued it. He said we would have to talk about trying something else instead of the ambien that I can not sleep with out but that is all he said I got a certified print out from the pharmacy showing that they filled the one he said he diddnt renew but nothing else was discussed and the ambien for sleep I sleep pretty good with the ambien I have tried all the over the counter stuff I could afford I have tried other perscriptions that did not work but yeah lets just abruptly stop a persons medicine with out any care about what it will do to them that is 1 unsafe and 2 unprofessional and 3 just cruel. Then they can't keep which pharmacy I am using. I will be looking for a different place to go to that will take my health needs with more respect. Not to mention that you have a 2-3 month waiting time to see the doctor. Which does not do any good since your health means nothing to them the receptionist just cut me off and then hung up on me I do not think that is professional and is kinda rude I have always been honest with them and tried to keep my appointments. I am not scum and do not like to be treated as such. It just blows my mind that they can just kick me off something that has not given me any side effects and been on for 10 years and that works good for me other people have taken this long term so I guess it comes down to having a doctor that cares so what do I do for sleep now? Do I start to drink which is not cheap either but yeah they obvisaly can not even keep their records straight maybe they should check with the pharmacy about a prescription if they are not sure before making false asucations to a patient. So if I can't sleep and my mind gets all messed up and end up having to go to the hospital I will tell them to send the bill to the abbey center. The councilers have been good and nice.Update on 11-14-17 was asked to leave the dr. office because he wanted to tell me he has not messed up even though I have pharmacy proof he refuses to be honest he is a malpractice suit waiting to happen think my also file a complaint with the American medical association against this dr sfzdar I encourage others that have problems to file complaints I think the mental health doctor needs a mental health exam.
I have never had so many issues with a clinic than i have with Abbe Center. The last 8 months i have been on 3 or 4 monthly perscription medications, currently 3 and EVERY time i leave the appointment/clinic being told we'll send the script over and it should be ready for you soon. Never once has that actually been the case. Every single time i was getting medication i had/have to make multiple calls back to Abbe Center and essentially, lack of better term, "harass" them to do their job and do what they say they are going to do. Many times i have had to wait 3 or 4 days to finally get my script called/faxed in to my pharmacy. It is absolutely inexcusable in my opinion. Today will be day 4 and i have called 2 times yesterday and 3 times today, still no script....
This place helps the people that are not all with it at times. They get people calling them while they are in an episode and they have to deal with that person. They have people calling in and changing appointments and missing appointments all the time and these people have to deal with some of the nastiest people. I get it they are super busy and they have new help there that need to learn how to handle this kind of job. Not all people are like you and me I've seen fights brake out I've seen a few other things at thus clinic.
Everyone is nice and my Dr. Is excellent. It has been a lifesaver for me.
